With over two decades of marketing expertise, Mikey Monaghan has carved a distinctive niche within the realms of retail, restaurant, and non-profit industries. Her journey as a marketing freelancer in Baltimore since 2005 began early in life, as she assisted her mother in orchestrating high-profile fashion and retail events for premier “A centers.” These formative experiences steered her towards a career in marketing and promotions, commencing with her role at the iconic Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship store in New York City.
Following four years of dedicated management and promotional work in New York City at Bloomingdale’s and Condé Nast Publications’ SELF Magazine, Mikey returned to her Baltimore roots to further cultivate her marketing career. Here, she collaborated with a diverse array of clients, holding positions at Prime Retail, the public relations agency Weinberg Harris & Associates, and visionary developer Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse.
During her tenure, she not only developed and managed special events and promotions but also crafted impactful public relations and strategic marketing programs for their managed properties, such as Belvedere Square and Harbor East, among others.
In recent years, Mikey’s client portfolio for strategic marketing has expanded to encompass notable entities like Green Spring Station, Central Baltimore Partnership, Port Discovery, the Franciscan Center, Archdiocese of Baltimore, and more.
